Kristin Boudreau

Kristin, a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), earned her BFA in photography in 2000. After graduation she began working for SCAD as a commercial and editorial photographers and quickly became one of the personal photographers to the College's president. Kristin's involvement with photographic associations and workshops enable her to stay current with the on-going evolution of photography and grow as an artist.

Her enthusiasm for photography began as a small child and has only intensified in adulthood. Kristin has earned several national and international photography awards. Her passion lies in fashionista portraits. "Creating a portrait of someone who displays spirited style and self confidence is very rewarding."

In 2004, Kristin moved back to New Hampshire to be close to her family during her fight with breast cancer. She actively donates time to the American Cancer Society and The Lance Armstrong Foundation, giving talks and slideshows about her experience to other survivors, caregivers, nurses and doctors.

Kristin and her husband, Craig, reside in Raymond with their three dogs, Glenni, Slinky, and Bruno. They can often be found mountain biking on the railroad trails between Auburn and Raymond. She has been blessed with life and continues to thrive. Recently, they celebrated their fourth year of living cancer free!

Jim Despathy, photographer, restoration specialist and Kristin's dad, spent over 30 years in high tech involving extensive worldwide travel and was seldom seems without his camera. An award winning photographers and avid outdoorsman, Jim's photographic library includes portraits, landscapes and wildlife images from across the US, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, the Carribean and Central America. After four years in the Navy, including a tour in Vietnam, he earned an AA and a BA from UNH (Manchester & Durham) and his MBA from Rivier College (Nashua). Jim is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals and the Professional Photographers Association (New Hampshire, New England, and United States Chapters).
